Frequently asked

Do I need a Class B licence for soil works with asbestos?+
Yes β€” any disturbance of more than 10 mΒ³ of soil containing asbestos requires a Class B (or Class A, if friable) licensed removalist. Below 10 mΒ³, non-licensed removal applies but the plan and controls still apply.
What if the soil contamination is unconfirmed?+
The plan includes an unconfirmed-contamination pathway: assume presence, sample, and adjust controls based on results. Disposal route is determined post-classification.
